The Journey

Decades back, devotees of Shri Lord Dharmasaastha sought for a divine place to worship and obtain salvation from the lord. His almighty blessed us in realizing this noble thought with the construction of the Sreekovil (Main Sanctum) in 2006, the Chuttambalam Samarpanam (dedication of the peripheral wall) and consecration ceremony of Upadevatas on 30th March 2017.

The temple is raised on the land allotted by the Govt. of India back in October of 2000. The rare ‘Krishnashila’ (the stone with Sri Krishna’s complexion) had to be brought specially from Bengaluru for the construction of the Sreekovil, and the Chuttambalam.

The dream came true with Shadaadhaara Pratishta (laying the foundation stone) on 16th June of 2003, by his holiness the Thanthri (Chief Priest) Brahmasri Pudumana Sreedharan Namboothiri. Followingly, the Prana Pratishta (Consecration ceremony of the deity(s)) of Lord Shree Dharmasaastha along with his consort Devi Prabhadevi and their son, Lord Satyakan, in the Garbhagriha (womb chamber of the sanctum), as well as, Lord Ganapathi and Lord Dakshinamurthy at the southern side of the sanctum sanctorum was aligned to 3:00AM on Ashwathy Nakshatra (star) in the month of Meenam [equivalent to the 3-04-2006 of the Gregorian Calendar]. His holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Jyothishapeedhadheeswar Swami Madhavashram Ji from Badrikashram, Himalaya laid the foundation stone for Chuttambalam on 26th of January, 2012.
